Kenzie Cuthbert and his wife Kyt reside in the picturesque town of Lake Cowichan, BC Canada. They own and operate the Cowichan River Wilderness Lodge, a fishing lodge, on the world class Cowichan river.

Kenzie has been catching fish since the age of 11 and has since accumulated 36 years fishing experience, specializing in freshwater fishing. He has the nationwide Sage rod company behind him, having made him a member of their field staff team and is also a Gibbs/Nortac prostaff member. Islander Reels also has Kenzie as their prostaff member.

During his many years as a guide, he has been featured in numerous television shows which include “Hooked on Fishing” with Paul Young in the UK and “Columbia Country” in the US. National television shows include “Get Out” with Shelly and Courtenay, “Sportfishing on the Fly”, and “Sportfishing BC”.

As a professional fishing guide of 24 years, Kenzie is always looking for an edge. This has given him the opportunity to develop his latest innovation the EYES-N-TUBES system for tying flies. This is a revolutionary way to tie a realistic looking pair of eyes onto your fly.
