![]() Step #1 1) Slide the eyes onto the hook using the hole provided in the Eyes-n-Tube “Y” tube eye. |
![]() Step #2 2) Tie a base layer of thread onto the eye end of the hook. |
![]() Step #3 3) Wrap a small amount of dubbing onto the bend just below the eye of the hook. |
![]() Step #4 4) Wrap the dubbing within an 1/8 of and inch of the eye end of the hook. |
![]() Step #5 5) Tie 2 biots and 2 pieces of crystal flash so they extend out past the eye of the hook. |
![]() Step #6 6) Wrap a base layer of thread where the eyes are to be located and add a dab of cement. |
![]() Step #7 7) Slide the eyes forward into place. |
![]() Step #8 8) Secure the eyes and form a nicely tapered body with your thread. |
![]() Step #9 9) Add a small amount of cement over the eyes for extra strength. |
![]() Step #10 10) Tie 2 biots onto the bend end of the hook and add some dubbing. |
![]() Step #11 11) Wrap your dubbing forward approx. 1/8 inch and add 2 more biots. |
![]() Step #12 12) Fill in the remaining portion with dubbing wrapping toward the eyes. |
![]() Step #13 13) Whip finish and add some cement |
